The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIITA) offers a wide spectrum of continuing education, outreach, and lifelong learning programs, including short-term courses, workshops, seminars, online certification programs, hybrid and online degree programs, training programs, internships, and other academic outreach activities. These programs are aimed at students, academic and technical staff, working professionals, industry personnel, and interested learners from within and outside the Institute. The primary objective of such programs is to enhance knowledge dissemination, skill development, professional growth, and societal engagement, in alignment with national priorities, emerging technologies, and industry requirements. These initiatives enable learners to upskill, reskill, and acquire domain-specific expertise without being confined to full-time academic engagement. All extension, continuing education, and academic outreach activities of IIITA shall be planned, coordinated, administered, and certified under the aegis of the Center for Continuing Education & Outreach Programs (C-CEOP), which functions as the nodal body for all such programs at the Institute.
In accordance with the approvals granted by the
Senate
and the
Board of Governors of IIITA,
the mandate of the
Center for Continuing Education & Outreach Programs (C-CEOP)
shall be as follows:

Continuing Education and Outreach Activities
(including but not limited to):
Online/hybrid Short-term & long-term certification programs
Degree and non-degree (e.g., PG Diploma) Continuing Education Programs-CEPs
Faculty / Management / Leadership Development Programs (FDPs/MDPs/LDPs)
Institute initiated Academic / research events such as Conferences, Workshops, seminars, symposia, internships etc.
